A native New Yorker, Alexandra has lived in four countries on three continents. She first caught the international living bug when she was 18 while studying abroad in Italy. A few countries and languages later, she’s now an expert expat.
From a year in the Dominican Republic working as a travel columnist to landing a gig as the founding Editor-in-Chief of StepFeed in the Middle East, Alexandra has worked abroad in many different capacities from freelancing to an office 9-to-5. Moving over nine times internationally, she has her share of tips for finding a job abroad, moving internationally, solo travel, travel writing and maybe most importantly, finding friends on the road.
The way she sees it: the world is TOO BIG to not explore, whether it’s your own backyard or every country on earth. Follow Talty’s Expat Files for some tips on living abroad yourself,
